A cheery bus-load of people from the five Cumbernauld churches headed off to Edinburgh on Sunday 20 May to visit the Heart & Soul 2012 event in Princes Street Gardens. The event was being run to coincide with the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and featured stalls from the various councils of the church, bands, speakers, games – you name it, it was there! The event closed with an act of worship and, not only was the seating at the Ross Bandstand full, hundreds of people gathered on the grass, the paths and even Princes Street itself to join in. A truly memorable occasion.
