Condorrat Church Girls Brigade, Guild and Sunday School News

The Girls Brigade had a sponsored sleepover in the church hall last Saturday.  They had great fun (but probably little sleep) and monies raised will be divided between the Company and the Sanctuary Refurbishment Project.

On 7th November The Guild had a speaker from ‘Mary’s Meals’, one of their projects.   They have a ‘Fund Raiser’ evening on 21st November in aid of the Guild Projects when ‘Kilsyth Close Harmony’ will be entertaining them.  Tickets are now on sale at £3.

The Minister writes in this month’s Parish News that the Sunday School are planting two trees on Communion Sunday to commemorate the Queen’s Jubilee.  It is hoped that as many folk will stay to watch the ceremony and join us for coffee afterwards.  It is great that the young people of our church have made such an effort  for they bought the trees and have arranged for their planting.  So well done Sunday School.
