We are delighted to report that work on the Sanctuary refurbishment commenced on 30th September and is due to be completed in eighteen weeks. During this time all services will be held in the church halls. As previously advised, there will be no vehicle access in the church grounds but parking is available in the Nursery car park in Kirk Place.
Fund-raising for the refurbishment project continues and the next event is:
- A Coffee Morning/Craft Fair on Saturday 26th October at 10am in the church halls. There will be twenty tables of assorted crafts all with Christmas in mind, plus a home baking stall. Tickets are £2 available at the door and include tea/ coffee/ juice and cakes. Parking is available in the Nursery cark park in Kirk Place. This event will be followed by our Christmas Fayre on 30th November at 12 noon – more details in a future posting.
Readers of the Cumbernauld News will have seen the article about the Ladies Lunch and Fashion Show held on 21st September. This was a great success and raised £2,333 – with Gift Aid it is hoped that the sum will rise to over £3,000. Thanks to everyone for their generous support.
