A huge THANK-YOU to everyone who helped make last Saturday’s Christmas Fair at Cumbernauld Old Parish Church such a success. It’s impossible to name everyone, but the list includes those who came along to the Village Hall on Friday night to help get things set up, everyone who donated items for the stalls, tearoom, prizes, etc., all those who staffed the stalls on the day and those helped clear up afterwards, those who made and served the teas, Santa Claus (of course!) who gave up some time from his busy schedule to pay them a visit, the people who did all the planning, phoning and cajoling behind the scenes and, finally, everyone who came along and supported the event with their time and their money.
It was a real team effort by so many people. The people at Cumbernauld Old are delighted to say that around £2012 was raised for Church funds and they extend their thanks to everyone who contributed in whatever way.
Next Saturday, 30th November, it’s the turn of Condorrat Parish Church, whose annual Christmas Fayre will be held in the Church halls starting at 12 noon and which will be opened by Jamie Hepburn, MSP. Full details in an earlier post.
