Condorrat News

This year our Guild is celebrating 95 years of worship, prayer and action.  They have a full programme ahead and held a celebratory birthday evening on Wednesday, 26 October.  Many congratulations Guild!

Thank you to the crafters, all who attended and everyone who helped in any way to make our Craft Fair and Coffee Morning on Saturday 22 October such a success.  We raised over £700 for church funds.  Likewise the annual Ladies Lunch and Fashion Show held at The Westerwood Hotel on Saturday 15 October was a most enjoyable and successful event raising £3,700.  Thank you to all.  Our next social event is the Christmas Fayre which will be held on Saturday 26 November.  More details in a future posting.

Light instead of darkness

The nights are fair drawing in – it’s getting darker earlier – so what about some light, eh?!  This month, J.A.F.A. Church’s theme is “Light instead of darkness”.

We’re on 30th October – the day the clocks go back – 4-6pm at Abronhill Parish Church.  Why not come along?

We’re making stained glass pictures, we’re icing biscuits with white and dark chocolate, making paper lanterns and glass painting.  Mind you, if you’re brave enough why not try our game of feeling for different things while blindfolded – are you brave enough to try?

Come along and join in the fun!  It’s free and we’ll be finding out how Jesus brings light to the world. Remember, that’s Sunday 30th October from 4-6pm at Abronhill Parish Church. See you there!
