Harvest Thanksgiving at Cumbernauld Old

Sunday 14th October will be our annual Harvest Thanksgiving service at Cumbernauld Old Parish Church. The service will be conducted by our minister Rev Elspeth McKay and takes place in the Parish Church at 11am.

Once again all donations to the harvest table will go to our own food bank, run in conjunction with Bethlehem House of Bread at Cornerstone House. Donations of tinned and dried goods (pasta, rice, tea, coffee, etc.) are most welcome.

Our food bank no longer receives support from local supermarkets, yet the numbers attending the Village food bank have doubled over the last year, so it relies heavily on our donations. Every tin or packet will be much appreciated. We have a long history of supporting the food bank week by week and there is always a box in the vestibule where you can place donations at any time. Time to give thanks, time to be generous!
