The annual Church Fete at Cumbernauld Old Parish Church is taking place in the manse gardens on Saturday 11th May from 1pm – 3 pm. Tickets cost £3 and include tea / coffee and creamed scone with jam. Children’s entry is free.
The following stalls and activities are planned: Fairtrade gift stall, tombola, ‘New to You’ stall, home baking, raffle, games for children (weather permitting), face painting, and craft stall. We are also delighted that members from the Cumbernauld Musical Theatre will be joining us to provide entertainment.
We would welcome donations for the tombola stall; these can be handed to any member of the fundraising group. We would also be grateful for goods for the craft stall; you can pick up wool in the vestibule after our worship services for those talented knitters and crocheters.
As always, we are also looking for help to set up in the manse gardens on the evening of Friday 10th May. Please meet in the manse car park at 6.30pm. And we will need helpers to help put things away after the event finishes on Saturday 11th at 3:00pm. Please let us know if you can help, even if for a short while.
Finally, unfortunately the volunteers who did the face-painting and hot dogs last year are both away on May 11th, but we are keen to still have both these things on offer and so are hoping that someone will offer to help (face paints will be supplied as will hot dogs, buns, etc.) If you can help with these, please get in touch!
