ABRONHILL PARISH CHURCH

The Craft Group will be holding a Coffee and Craft afternoon on Monday 28 October from 2pm – 4pm in the kitchen hall. All are welcome. The members of the group have been working very hard at preparing cards and gifts for the stall and all proceeds will go to Church funds. There will be a charge of £2 which will include entrance and tea/coffee/goodies.

Our next ‘Lunch Break’ will be on Monday 4 November in the Church. Soup and light lunches, tea and cakes will be served between 12 noon and 2 pm. All are welcome to come along. Prices available on the day.

Reminiscing at Abronhill Church

Yesterday Once More, a unique interactive reminiscence session for seniors will be at Abronhill Church on Friday 13 September at 7.30 pm. Join popular radio presenter Dave Marshall on a 60 minute journey into the past.

Abronhill Church Monthly Tearoom

Abronhill Church will be holding a monthly Tearoom organised by the Hospitality Group. This will take place on the first Monday of each month, beginning in October and is from 12 noon till 2pm. Soup, Sandwiches and Toasties will be available along with Tea, Coffee and Cakes. Come along and meet with friends and enjoy a tasty lunch.

Abronhill Church Evening of Music, Memories and Merriment

Nan McCabe, Marjory Williamson and friends will be hosting an evening of music, memories and merriment in the Church Hall on Saturday 7 October at 7pm in aid of Dr. Graham’s Home. Tickets cost £3 and can be bought from Nan & John Manson. Nan & Marjory will also be doing a Sponsored Walk in Israel in January and donations towards this will be gratefully received at any time.

Bring & Buy Sale

Abronhill Church will be holding a Bring & Buy sale in the Church Hall on Saturday 28 October 2017 at 12 noon. Donations can be made between now and 27 October. Donations should be in a new or nearly new condition. Unfortunately no Bric-a-brac or second hand furniture can be accepted. Electrical goods must be new and in their packaging and will be purchased at the buyer’s responsibility. Items will be priced per table at £1, £2, £3, etc. so there will be no confusion about priced goods. Any goods not sold will be donated to a local charity shop unless stated otherwise and goods for return can be picked up by 3pm on the day. The tea room will also be open during the sale with tea/coffee/biscuits & perhaps cake available.
