Abronhill Parish Church

Due to the heavy snowfalls and the snowdrifts that are covering the entrance and emergency exits, it has been decided to cancel the morning Service this Sunday 4 March. This is to ensure the health and safety of our congregation.

Bring & Buy Sale

Abronhill Church will be holding a Bring & Buy sale in the Church Hall on Saturday 28 October 2017 at 12 noon. Donations can be made between now and 27 October. Donations should be in a new or nearly new condition. Unfortunately no Bric-a-brac or second hand furniture can be accepted. Electrical goods must be new and in their packaging and will be purchased at the buyer’s responsibility. Items will be priced per table at £1, £2, £3, etc. so there will be no confusion about priced goods. Any goods not sold will be donated to a local charity shop unless stated otherwise and goods for return can be picked up by 3pm on the day. The tea room will also be open during the sale with tea/coffee/biscuits & perhaps cake available. If any other information is required or if you wish to help, please contact Margaret Naismith on 01236 720164.

Christmas Worship at Cumbernauld Old

There will be two church services at Cumbernauld Old Parish Church on Christmas Eve: the first at 7:30pm will be in the Forge Community Centre in Balloch and that will be followed by our Watchnight Service at 11.30pm in the Parish Church in the Village.

Our Christmas Day worship service is at 10.15am in the Parish Church to which all are welcome. Please note this is a joint service and there won’t be a service at the Forge this Sunday.
A wee bit of advance notice that on Sunday 1st January we’ll again have a joint service at 10.15am in the Parish Church and there won’t be a service at the Forge.
