Cumbernauld Old fundraising news

The fundraising group at Cumbernauld Old Parish Church hold their first event of the year on Friday 22nd February. It will be our ever popular Quiz Night which will take place in Cumbernauld Bowling Club on 22nd February at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 and include a buffet supper. Get them at the church or from any office-bearer.

Thanks to everyone who has already handed in recipes for the Festive Cookery Book, but we still need more! Please take a minute and write out your favourite tried and tested recipe sweet, savoury, baking, anything at all and hand it in to Elizabeth Snedden or any of the fundraising group. This an easy and painless way to help church funds so please help.

Jewellery Appeal – Have you ever lost a gold earring or cuff-link or broken a gold chain? Bet the apares and remains are lying in a jewellery box in your house and have been for years. Are they of any use? YES!! Would you consider donating these bits and pieces to the church? They could be put to very good use. If you can help just bring your lonely little treasures to church any Sunday and pop them into the box in the vestibule. They will make such a difference.
