Harvest Big Sing

Falkirk Trinity Church is hosting a delegation from the Church in Schüren, Dormund between 8th and 15th October.
The visit will culminate in a ‘Harvest’ Big Sing in Falkirk Trinity on Wednesday 14th October at 7.30pm followed by refreshments etc. Singers from  church choirs are invited to participate in this event and form a Joint Choir.

Rehearsals for participation in the Joint Choir are scheduled on the evenings of Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th October at 7.30pm in the Sanctuary of Falkirk Trinity Church with a pre-event rehearsal for the Joint Choir at 6.00pm on Wednesday 14th.

Members of congregations and the public are invited to attend the event on the evening of the 14th October.

Tickets will be required by all (price £8 with at least £2 towards charity)
After deduction of expenses the proceeds will be given to the Princess Royal Trust for Young Carers.

Kildrum to host Male Voice Choir

Kildrum Parish Church is having a concert by the Cumbernauld Male Voice Choir in aid of Church funds. The concert takes place on Friday 31st January, starting at 7.30pm and tickets are £4 donation available by phoning Jane at (01236) 613260 or you can pay at the door.

The programme is a mix of styles, from Choral Standards to Show songs to Scottish songs (with the occasional pop song thrown in too!) We hope you will come along and enjoy a good evening of good music!

Festival of Light Service

Festival of Light 2012On Sunday 9th December the annual Festival of Light Service (otherwise known as Carols by Candlelight) will be held at Kildrum Parish Church starting at 7.30pm. As ever, it will be hosted jointly by Cumbernauld Christian Aid Committee and the Third World Group of Sacred Heart Church.

Tickets are priced at a suggested donation of £2 (children admitted free) and are available at the door on the night. As well as carol-singing, part of the worship will be led by Croy Silver Band as well as choirs from St Andrew’s Primary School and the Cumbernauld Choir.
Please come along and take part in what promises to be a wonderful evening of praise and fellowship.
