Condorrat Church News

Christmas treeAs in previous years our church will soon be decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree given by a donor who wishes to remain anonymous and the three primary schools in the area will help to decorate the windows.

  • Our Carols by Candlelight on 16th December will be a perfect opportunity to come together to sing all our favourite carols.   It is always a warm, welcoming service which conveys to all the message of love towards one another.
  • The service on 23rd December will be led by our Sunday School and we look forward to the children of the church leading us through the nativity.
  • Our Watchnight Service on 24th December starts with community carol singing at 11 pm.
  • The service on Christmas Day starts at 10.30 am – please note the earlier time.

The  monthly services in the McAuley Hall are to be suspended until nearer to Easter to avoid those who attend (mainly the elderly) having to come out in the worst of the winter weather.

The Guild Christmas Party is on Wednesday 5th December and a warm welcome is extended to everyone wishing to join in the fellowship and fun.  There will also be an informal evening on 16th January 2013 to which everyone is welcome.

The Girls’ Brigade recent Sleepover raised £202.50 for the Sanctuary Refurbishment Project.  The next event for this important project is a Dinner Dance at the Westerwood Hotel on Friday 15th February.  This will be a 3-course meal and a Ceilidh Band.  Tickets are £25 and can be booked now.
