Holy and Humorous

John Bell_160218_poster_smFalkirk Trinity Church is delighted to announce that John Bell of the Iona Community will be appearing in the church for an evening of light entertainment on Friday 16th February!
This event, titled ‘Holy and Humorous‘, will start at 7.00pm and tickets are available, costing £10 (subject to booking fee), from the Church Office or online.

John Bell is a member and resource worker of the Iona Community. He is an ordained minister of the Church of Scotland, a hymn writer and occasional broadcaster who works in all continents.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Iona Abbey Capital Appeal.

Sanctuary First invite us to “Take a moment to feel the peace this Christmas” at a special Falkirk Presbytery Advent prayer service at 3.30pm on Sunday 26th November in Falkirk Trinity Church.

Harvest Big Sing

Falkirk Trinity Church is hosting a delegation from the Church in Schüren, Dormund between 8th and 15th October.
The visit will culminate in a ‘Harvest’ Big Sing in Falkirk Trinity on Wednesday 14th October at 7.30pm followed by refreshments etc. Singers from  church choirs are invited to participate in this event and form a Joint Choir.

Rehearsals for participation in the Joint Choir are scheduled on the evenings of Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th October at 7.30pm in the Sanctuary of Falkirk Trinity Church with a pre-event rehearsal for the Joint Choir at 6.00pm on Wednesday 14th.

Members of congregations and the public are invited to attend the event on the evening of the 14th October.

Tickets will be required by all (price £8 with at least £2 towards charity)
After deduction of expenses the proceeds will be given to the Princess Royal Trust for Young Carers.
