The next social and fund-raising event at Cumbernauld Old Parish Church will be a Musical Evening on Friday 29th March led by our very talented organist Professor David J.Smith, who will treat us to recitals on harpsichord and organ.
By popular request, David will also be delighting us with his amazing improvisations – will you be able to guess the tune?

Our last musical evening was a great success, and we are sure this one will be too.

Thanks to everyone who has already handed in recipes for the Festive Cookery Book, but we still need more! This an easy and painless way to help church funds so please help.
Jewellery Appeal – Have you ever lost a gold earring or cuff-link or broken a gold chain? Bet the apares and remains are lying in a jewellery box in your house and have been for years. Are they of any use? YES!! Would you consider donating these bits and pieces to the church? They could be put to very good use. If you can help just bring your lonely little treasures to church any Sunday and pop them into the box in the vestibule. They will make such a difference.
Kildrum Parish Church is holding a Quiz Night and raffle on Saturday 2nd February at 7.00pm. The money raised from this event will be going towards Natalie Dunn’s trip to Machu Picchu, Peru. She is walking the Inca Trail in October to raise money for GirlGuiding and needs to raise £4000 overall. This event will help towards reaching that goal.
Around half the overall money raised goes to GirlGuiding while the other half goes towards covering the expenses of the trip such as paying doctors to come, to cover accommodation at either end of the trip (the rest is camping on the mountain), the food and the flights.
Teams can be minimum of two people up to eight people maximum. Tickets are £2 per head with tickets available at the door, where you will also be asked how many are in your team. You can also book tickets ahead through Natalie Dunn using Messenger; she will take note of your name and put tickets aside.
Sign-up or find out further information about the event on our Facebook page.
