The 1st Condorrat Girls’ Brigade company, attached to Condorrat Parish Church, is looking for new recruits!
Girls who would like to take part in some fun activities, make crafts as well as new friends will be made most welcome any Tuesday evening from Tuesday 28th August in Condorrat Church Hall.
Girls in P1 – P3 meet from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, while girls in P4 upwards meet from 7.30pm – 9.00pm.
The 1st Condorrat Girls’ Brigade invite you to a Coffee Evening and Craft Sale on Tuesday 28th November from 6.30 – 8.30pm in Condorrat Parish Church Hall.
Entry is £2, payable at the door, to cover the cost of the tea and cakes. All welcome!
On Sunday 4 October we are holding our Dedication Service where all the different sections of our church – the Guild and youth organisations – come together and dedicate themselves anew for the coming session. Sunday 18 October is our Harvest Thanksgiving Service and all donations will go to the Glasgow City Mission.
Social events: The evening with the Massai Warriors was a huge success and was the first ‘social event’ to be held in the Sanctuary. The Ladies Lunch and Fashion Show at The Westerwood Hotel will be held on Saturday 10 October. There are a few tickets still available from Margaret McCallum tel: 01236 728086 / 07799281876. Our Autumn Craft Fair and Coffee Morning is on Saturday 24 October from 10 am – 12 noon – £2 entry for adults, £1 for children which covers the cost of coffee/tea and goodies. There will be many crafters, new and old so please do come along – everyone is very welcome.
Our Sunday Services have now returned to the usual time of 11 am. The Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades have resumed after the summer break as has the Guild and Sunday School starts again this Sunday, 13 September.

Everyone is very welcome to ‘Afternoon Tea at The Ritz’ to be held in the Church Hall on Saturday 7th March from 12 noon – 2pm at a cost of £3 which can be paid at the door. Proceeds are for Dementia Scotland.
The Annual General Meeting of the Communicants on the Roll of this Church will be held on Sunday 8th March immediately following the 11.00am worship service.
The Guild‘s Daffodil Tea will be held on Wednesday 25th March – tickets on sale shortly.
Last Saturday the Girls’ and Boys’ Brigade did a ‘bag pack’ at ASDA and made an amazing £1,200 towards the cost of the next camp. Congratulations to them and a big vote of thanks to parents, shoppers and to anyone who helped to make this possible.
Finally, we are pleased to report that our recent Beetle Drive / Fish Supper was a very enjoyable evening and raised £500 for church funds. Thanks to all who helped to make it such a success.
On Sunday 9 November our Remembrance Day Service will begin at 10.30am.
From Sunday, 7 September (Communion Sunday) our Services will return to the usual time of 11am and 6.30pm on Communion Sundays.
