One World Week 2018

One World Week logo 2018_1One World Week 2018 runs from 21-28 October. The theme for 2018 is ‘The World is Changing – How about us?’

Cumbernauld will be recognising this year’s One World Week in a worship service to be held in the Church of the Holy Name, Fleming Road, Seafar on Sunday 28th October at 3.00pm to which all are welcome.

“The aim of One World Week is to increase understanding of global issues and empowering people to make a difference to help tackle these.  The particular aims of OWW 2018 are to draw attention to the difficulties humanity faces, enable people to see alternatives which inspire them to make changes in their own lives and support joint actions which, acting individually and together will achieve human prosperity in a flourishing web of life.”

One World Week

One World Week 2012Cumbernauld Churches Together will be holding a series of short worship services each day from Monday 22nd – Friday 26th October in the Church of the Holy Name, Seafar as part of One World Week. The services will start at 12 noon and will last about half-an-hour, after which a light lunch will be served. All welcome!
