Tickets are now on sale for Cumbernauld Old Parish Church’s St Andrew’s Night celebrations to be held in Cumbernauld Bowling Club, Cumbernauld Village, on Friday 1st December at 7.30pm.
There will be a great mix of music, singing, dancing, and much more – as they say, something for everyone!
Tickets cost £7 and that includes a traditional fish supper. Numbers will be limited, so please don’t delay – get your tickets from one of our social committee now!
Falkirk Presbytery is holding a ‘Resource Day’ for elders and members of congregations on Saturday 7th May from 9.30am – 3.15pm in Denny Westpark Church.
Among the topics on offer are: Sing a New Song (an opportunity to join with one another in musical praise and perhaps learn a new hymn or two); Fresh Expressions (a way of developing a different ‘style’ of church for those who don’t attend traditional worship); The Science Delusion; Reaching Out to Young People; Leading Worship; and Prayer.
The cost of £5 per person includes tea / coffee and biscuits at the beginning of the day and a snack lunch. This should be paid on the day.

Falkirk Trinity Church is hosting a delegation from the Church in Schüren, Dormund between 8th and 15th October.
The visit will culminate in a ‘Harvest’ Big Sing in Falkirk Trinity on Wednesday 14th October at 7.30pm followed by refreshments etc. Singers from church choirs are invited to participate in this event and form a Joint Choir.
Rehearsals for participation in the Joint Choir are scheduled on the evenings of Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th October at 7.30pm in the Sanctuary of Falkirk Trinity Church with a pre-event rehearsal for the Joint Choir at 6.00pm on Wednesday 14th.
Members of congregations and the public are invited to attend the event on the evening of the 14th October.
