World Day of Prayer: Friday 1 March 2013

This year’s World Day of Prayer service will be held on Friday 1st March at 7 for 7.30pm in the United Reformed Church, Beechwood Road, N. Carbrain.
This year’s service was prepared by the women of France and has the theme “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”
All are welcome to attend this Friday: women and men, young and old, friends and strangers.

World Day of Prayer 2012

The World Day of Prayer is an international, ecumenical, prayer movement initiated and carried out by Christian women in more than 180 countries and over 1000 languages.  Every year Christians, male and female, of many traditions and all ages, celebrate a common day of prayer on the first Friday in March. This year’s World Day of Prayer service has been produced by the women of Malaysia and has the theme ‘Let Justice Prevail’. The World Day of Prayer service in Cumbernauld will be held this year in St. Lucy’s Church, Hornbeam Road, Abronhill on Friday 2nd March at 7.00pm. All welcome!
